We are all on the Internet and most of us do it every day. We browse various social sites, comment, email friends, and just do whatever we want. However, some of us are too dependent on our cell phones. I know this because I myself was a total cell phone addict for a while. When I realized it after a few years and started working on it, it was a big change for me. Personally, I think you always have a choice and it is always up to you which path you choose. However, phones can cause a lot of problems. The addictions mentioned earlier are obvious, but using the Internet for hours a day can also cause major headaches.

And you may be thinking, “My head hurts and I don\’t feel well? That\’s exactly what it is. I, for example, try to limit my activities on my phone and only spend normal hours on it, like 3 hours a day. Most of it is for work anyway, and sometimes I put on a show, video, or movie on my phone to watch. But I don\’t spend all day on the Internet. I have a young daughter to take care of, and she needs my attention more than my phone, which is just a box, so to speak.

The phone is not a friend I can talk to face-to-face or do activities with. For me, the phone only has a couple of purposes, and those are the work aspect and, as I said before, a bit of fun. But I don\’t enjoy being on the Internet all the time. I am always much happier when I am in the country or somewhere without a phone. I turn it off for a few days. No phone, no signal, only with people I love, and sometimes alone. Believe me, this peace is beyond description. I live for this. Not for the phone, but for the experience.
