What is geocaching?
Also called geocaching in Czech, it is a game that borders on sports and hiking. The object of the game is to find hidden objects, called caches in Czech. In the application that can be downloaded to your cell phone for this game, you are given a record in the form of GPS coordinates. However, it is not just a matter of entering the GPS coordinates found in the application. On the contrary, those who are already geocachers or geocatchers have to calculate the coordinates or look them up in other searches. And that\’s the great part!

To get started in this game, you will of course need to learn the basic principles of the sport or game.
So what do I need to do?
– Sign up for a server dedicated to this game.
– You can then search through the maps and hints, but as mentioned, you should have the appropriate device, such as a smartphone.
– Decide where you want to search. Ideally, pick the first cache near where you live to get a feel for how such a game actually works, how the app works, and what you can actually imagine under this sport. You will never know if this game is right for you until you try it.
-Before hunting your first cache, study the basic principles of the game. For example, how to log, how to act when searching, similar instructions.
-Then, of course, you can plan your entire route to look for caches or collect caches on the trip you are going on.
-If you already know how to look for caches and notice that there are no caches in interesting places, then of course you can look for them. However, we must always make sure that there is no final cache for the more difficult tasks.
